3. Music, Downloads, Stems & User-Generated Content
From time to time, we may provide:
• Song stems
• Remix packs
• Instrumentals
• Visual assets
• Other downloadable materials
If you download or use these materials, you agree to the following:
A. Your Rights
You may:
• Create remixes, covers, or derivative works for personal or non-commercial use, unless explicitly stated otherwise
Share your creations on social platforms with proper credit (e.g., “Remix by [Your Name], original by Destined for Mars”)
• Submit your creations to DFM for potential reposting or community features
B. License You Grant to Us
By submitting or sharing a remix, cover, or derivative work with us, you grant DFM a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:
• Share, repost, feature, or showcase your work on our channels
• Use your work for promotional or community-engagement purposes
• You still retain full ownership of your creation.
C. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
• Upload our stems to third-party sample libraries
• Sell or commercially exploit remixes without written approval
• Misrepresent authorship or remove metadata/copyright info
4. Purchases, Merch & Payments
If you purchase merch or other products through our Site:
All prices are displayed in USD unless noted
Payment processing is handled securely by third-party providers
Shipping times and availability may vary
Refunds & Returns
Refunds and returns may be governed by the policies of our fulfillment partners (e.g., Printful, Shopify).

Destined For Mars (“DFM,” “we,” “us”) is a music project of VDP Music, LLC, based in Colorado. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit destinedformars.com (the “Site”) or sign up for Transmissions, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version: we collect very little, we use it to run the Site and send you our letters, and we never sell it.
1. Information you give us
- Email address. When you sign up for Transmissions, we collect the email address you enter.
- Messages. If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if included) and whatever you choose to write.
- Purchases. If we offer merch or other products and you buy something, we collect what’s needed to fulfill your order, such as your name, shipping address and email. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
2. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the Site automatically collects some technical information when you visit, such as:
- your IP address and approximate location (city/region level) derived from it
- browser and device type, operating system and screen size
- pages you view, the site or link that brought you here, and when you visited
- whether you opened or clicked a link in one of our emails
This is collected using cookies, browser storage and similar technologies (see section 5).
3. How we use your information
- to send you Transmissions: new music, stories, announcements and behind-the-scenes updates
- to reply to your messages
- to fulfill orders and handle returns, if you buy something
- to understand how the Site is used, so we can improve it
- to protect the Site from spam, bots and abuse
- to comply with the law
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site, under contracts that limit how they can use it:
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector): website hosting, the signup form, our contact list and email sending
- Google Analytics: visitor statistics
- Cloudflare: security, bot protection and basic traffic statistics
- Payment processors and fulfillment partners: only if you make a purchase
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the project or its assets.
5. Cookies and your choices
The Site uses cookies and browser storage for analytics (Google Analytics), security (Cloudflare) and to remember your session and signup (GoHighLevel). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work, though some features such as the signup form may not. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
The Site links to other services, such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and streaming platforms. When you follow those links, their own privacy policies apply.
6. Emails from us
You’ll only get Transmissions if you sign up. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time by writing to [email protected].
7. How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you’re subscribed, and for a short time afterward so we can honor your unsubscribe. We keep messages and order records only as long as needed to respond, fulfill orders or meet legal and tax obligations. Analytics data is kept according to our providers’ retention settings.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, get a copy of it, or object to or limit how we use it. To make a request, email [email protected]. We’ll respond within the time the law requires and won’t treat you differently for asking. If you’re in the EU or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or email system is completely secure.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
11. Visitors outside the U.S.
We’re based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the U.S. and other countries. By using the Site, you understand your information may be processed outside your home country.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll let subscribers know by email.
